This newly developed 5-kilometer bike trail in Pampanga is free for everyone

Alviera, the mixed-used estate in Porac, Pampanga that brought us the adventure park Sandbox, recently opened a cycling trail for bikers who’d like to take more challenging rides for their gravel bikes and MTBs.

The 5-kilometer bike trail in Alviera is now open to the public and it’s free for everyone who’d like to visit. Cyclists who are interested to visit are only required to register in the estate’s “Kilometer Zero” which is located in its Greenscapes area. It is open daily from 6am to 6pm.

The multi-terrain routes are suitable for all ages and skill levels. There are options for those who’d like to take it easy and for cyclists who are into rougher trails.

Mel Trivinio, Alviera’s Project Development Manager, said that they wanted to give their visitors a more fun experience, something that they can enjoy aside from the estate’s country club and adventure park Sandbox.

“We are focusing on expanding and improving the Sandbox experience with the introduction of new facilities. We wanted to give guests a full day itinerary here in Alviera,” Mel said during the EXPLORAC press conference last April 22.

She added, “Uso nagba-bike ngayon, dumami ang nagbi-bisikleta and we want to capture this in our estate. So we are introducing a five-kilometer trail for both beginners and advanced levels. This is essentially our way of introducing the west part of Alviera to the general public.”

When you’re done with the trails, you can relax in the Greenscapes area of Alviera or you can try the amenities offered by Sandbox — you can try its 10-meter giant swing, free fall jumps, aerial walks and rollercoaster ziplines, among others.

The estate also provides a camping area where you can bring your bikes and stay overnight with nature. Visitors can enjoy the space, toilet and shower. You need to bring your own camping equipment and other essentials.

Alviera is developed by Ayala Land and Leonio Land. For more information about the estate and its activities, visit www.alviera.ph.
