Christmas came early to this 9-year-old boy: he received a bicycle from his dad today. Oh, it’s lovely to see the joy of this child during his first bike ride.
Bart Suan has been requesting his dad Serwin to buy him a bicycle, it’s something that he wanted because most of his playmates in his neighborhood have one.
That’s what the dad told us. However, the kid had a different answer.
“Si daddy po,” Bart told us when we asked who encouraged him to ride a bike. He added that he’s really thankful because of his father’s gift. Serwin smiled when he heard this.
“Ito ang Christmas gift ko sa kaniya,” Serwin said. “Naka-apat na shop din ako sa paghahanap, nakita ko ito mura-mura sa Tandang Sora.”
We saw Bart trying his bicycle for the first time. He can already balance but not for a long time, he’s still riding slow while his dad coaches him on what to do.
“Gusto ko siya matuto mag-bike kasi ‘yung mga bata ngayon puro computer at cellphone. Para exercise na rin niya ito,” Serwin said.
During our shoot, Bart tries his best to look cool in front of the camera with his brand new toy. He’s really proud that he can at least pedal for a few seconds without falling but we believe that the dad is the proudest.
