Raffle: 1998 Kona Hahanna bike to help Typhoon Odette victims

All funds that will be gathered from the raffle will be donated to the typhoon victims through non-government organizations Waves for Water Philippines, Lokal.lab and For the Future PH.

To help those who are affected by typhoon Odette in Visayas and Mindanao, bike mechanic Robert Samson and his friend who wish to be anonymous will raffle a 1998 Kona Hahanna bicycle. They’ll accept entries until December 22.

The size of the mountain bike is small. It’s in good condition and was deeply cleaned and detailed by Samson.

A raffle ticket costs 1,000 pesos. It shall be paid via GCash, participants shall send it to Samson’s account (09275488883). Once the ticket is paid, direct message the transaction receipt to Instagram account @robvsam. The winner will be announced on December 23.

On December 16, Typhoon Odette made landfall in the Philippines and has displaced nearly 490,000 people in the country. News about the devastation and aftermath are still slowly getting traction as people struggle to get proper signal.

According to reports, affected Filipinos struggle with electricity, clean water and food. On top of that, houses, farms and other properties were destroyed. As of this writing, 208 deaths are reported.
