When the pandemic crippled public transport in Metro Manila, cycling allowed many to move around the city. The reality, however, is not everyone can afford safety gear. Many bikers would rather spend their money on urgent needs like food than on helmets or small bike lights.
First Bike Ride and The Curator are teaming up to raise funds to help bike commuters and delivery bikers who can’t afford to equip themselves with basic protection on the road.
The Curator revives its weekend Coffee Slushies. For the whole month of February, 100% of the profit from this drink will go to the fundraiser. Helmets and other safety gear will be donated to cyclists who need them.
The Coffee Slushies are available only from Fridays to Sundays. The drinks for First Bike Ride and The Curator’s donation drive will be available on February 4-6, 11-13, 18-20 and 25-27.
Flavors change every week.
This fundraiser is an extension of First Bike Ride’s earlier efforts of helping Filipino cyclists.
